Text Box: The past year was a good year for Rockford Skeet Club. During the year 26 new members were added and only 11 terminated their membership. The club currently has 166 members, which shot over twelve thousands of skeet, trap, or 5-stand sporting clays. Financially we are on solid ground, all bills are paid, a land acquisition fund was started, a full trailer of targets was received and paid for in January. The kitchen and both bathrooms were remodeled with insurance proceeds from a water le

ak.
The clubs target usage was 96%. The lost targets amounted to 107 cases or 535 rounds, the value of which is approximately $1,400. A round is 27 targets, 2 targets per round or 25,000 targets were accounted for in the analysis as look’s, breakage and setting targets, In 2003 we will be calculating targets usage on a quarterly basis to see if we can get to the acceptable figure of 98%. All members can help to improve the usage percentage by recording all of their own and their guests rounds on

the day shot. All members can help to control expenses.

Club Meals

The Annual Christmas party was very well attended with approximately 50 to 60 people sharing some of their Christmas time with us.  Next year  we'll try to have enough tables and seating so no one will have to stand to eat.  We  were not prepared for the great turnout.  The monthly breakfasts are doing well also & We would like to remind everyone that there are only three breakfast dates left.  The first Sunday of Feb, Mar & Apr,  8am till about 10:30am.

Hope to see you there.
